On August 3, 2025, the Catholic parish of Battambang, together with interfaith, celebrated a prayer service for peace for the world and Cambodia, with prayers from each religion, such as: Catholicism, Buddhism, the Al-Phil Congregation, the Thien Yin Battambang branch of the Mahadharma Mitrei, and the Baha'i community branch, and many people participated. In addition, Msgr Tep Chanpiseth, Bishop of Battambang Diocese, said that we are gathered here to pray for peace and remember the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in battle.
