On August 4, 2025, the Catholic Church of Battambang joyfully celebrated the Mass of the feast of Saint John Mary Vianney, a priest. The event was attended by Msgr Tep Chanpiseth, the Bishop of battambang Prefect, priests, and many Christian sisters and brothers. In his sermon, the Bishop Kike said: Saint John Mary Vianney, although not very well educated, was an exemplary priest who was close to God, a priest who devoted himself to serving.
